Founded in 1994, TINKO EUSKARA ELKARTEA (TINKO Basque Organisation) was created to introduce Basque language into movie theatres and to promote the normalization of our language.

Since then, and under the motto ' Basque to the Cinema Theatres' TINKO has given all schools in the Basque Country the chance to see international films in Basque and to work on these through didactic materials.
